The Beaver River ( English for " beaver river") is a right tributary of the Stewart River in the Canadian Yukon Territory .

The Beaver River has its source in the eastern Ogilvie Mountains . It flows in a predominantly east-southeast direction through the mountains and after 132 km reaches the Stewart River coming from the east. In the vicinity of the mouth, the mean discharge of the Beaver River is 56 m³ / s. The highest monthly runoffs usually occur in June during the snowmelt .

The Beaver River is used for whitewater canoe tours. The Scougale Lakes are a starting point for such tours . From there these lead over the right tributary Scougale Creek and the lower section of the Beaver River down to the Stewart River and on this.
