Bee Juker
Bertha Marie Juker-Hüssler (* 1905 in Bern ; † 1998 ) was a Swiss author and translator .
Life
As a collaborator on the scientific edition of Jeremias Gotthelf's works, Juker published two standard works on his work, translated literature from French into German (including Maria Popescu's autobiography "From Wednesday to Wednesday" ) and wrote other works with her husband, the librarian Werner Juker (1893 -1977).
She had an honorary doctorate .
