Beethoven Javier (born June 20, 1947 in Treinta y Tres ; † August 9, 2017 ) was a Uruguayan football player and coach .
Career
Player activity
societies
Defensive player Javier belonged to the team Nacional Montevideos at least in 1968 at the beginning of his career . From 1974 to 1980, according to other sources from 1976 to 1979, he played for Club Atlético Defensor in the Primera División . With Defensor he won the Uruguayan championship for the first time in the club's history in 1976. The following year he joined the team trained by Mario Patrón in the Copa Libertadores . In 1982 he worked as a player of the Colón Fútbol Club under coach Líber Aríspe , his former teammate at Defensor, in winning the championship of the Segunda División . In the subsequent relegation round to the first division promotion, however, the team failed.
National team
Javier made his debut on October 6, 1976 in the Uruguayan senior team . In the following years he completed a total of five internationals. He did not score a hit. His last international match in the "Celeste" was on June 15, 1977.

Coaching career
Beethoven Javier embarked on a coaching career after his active career. In 1988 he coached Huracán Buceo at least in August during the Copa Conmebol . In 2001 he coached the Central Español team . From July 2007 to November 12, 2007 he held the head coach position at Miramar Misiones .
He also worked as a coach at Colón Fútbol Club , River Plate and Club Atlético Rentistas .
