The Beljosee (also Belesee , Russian озеро Белё , Ozero BELJO, chakass. Пӧле , Poele ) translated, "White Lake", the largest lake in Khakassia in southern Siberia , Russia ( Asia ). The salt lake is 320 km from Krasnoyarsk and 160 km from Abakan .
The lake consists of two parts, which are connected by an isthmus . The area of the western part is approx. 50 km², that of the eastern part is approx. 25 km².
