Bell Mountain AVA (recognized since October 10, 1986) is a wine-growing region in the US state of Texas and is part of the Texas Hill Country AVA . The area is in Gillespie County .

Bell Mountain AVA was the first purely Texan wine-growing region to receive the status of an American Viticultural Area . The superordinate appellation Texas Hill Country AVA was only established five years after the Bell Mountain AVA. In 2006 there were a total of nine wineries that bottled wine under the name of the appellation.
