The Bell Rock is a distinctive, isolated and 1,200 m high Nunatak of Palmer Lands south of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 20 km east of Mount Ward in the middle of the Goodenough Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after the British geologist Charles Michael Bell (* 1943), who worked for the British Antarctic Survey on Fossil Bluff between 1968 and 1971 .
