Lionel Audet

Lionel Audet (born May 22, 1908 in Sainte-Marie de Beauce , Québec , Canada , † October 10, 1989 ) was auxiliary bishop in Québec .

Life

Lionel Audet received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Québec on July 8, 1934 .

On February 28, 1952, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular bishop of Thibaris and auxiliary bishop in Quebec City. The Archbishop of Québec, Maurice Roy , donated him episcopal ordination on May 1 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Québec, Charles-Omer Garant , and the bishop of Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière , Bruno Desrochers .

Lionel Audet attended the first and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council . He resigned as auxiliary bishop in Québec on March 26, 1983.
