Charles-Omer Garant (born July 9, 1899 in Notre-Dame-de-Lévis , Canada , † October 21, 1962 ) was auxiliary bishop in Québec .

Life

Charles-Omer Garant received on 10 May 1923 the Archbishop of Quebec, Louis-Nazaire Cardinal Bégin , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 24, 1948, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular bishop of Zorolus and auxiliary bishop in Quebec City. The Apostolic Delegate in Canada, Archbishop Ildebrando Antoniutti , donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Québec, Maurice Roy , and the Bishop of Trois Rivières , Georges Léon Pelletier .
