The building at Belzgasse 10 in Braunfels , a town in the Lahn-Dill district in Hesse , was built in the 17th century. The half-timbered house is a protected architectural monument .

The oldest part of the angular property was built on the defensive wall of the valley. His jewelry forms consist of half- man figures with carved head angles. A dwelling sits on the gable roof .

According to the inscription, the part facing the street was built in 1686 by Amalie Zaunschliffer and her sons. The framework is characterized by simple struts on the ground floor, man figures and St. Andrew's crosses on the upper floor and richly decorated parapet areas. A steep hipped roof covers the house.

A memorial plaque reminds that the pastor Friedrich Ludwig Mallet was born in this house in 1792 .
