Ben 10: Alien Force is an American animated series and is the sequel to Ben 10 . The series continues the events around the protagonist of the first series, Ben Tennyson, five years after the events of the previous, first series.
action
Benjamin "Ben" Tennyson, now at the age of 15, and Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tennyson, also at the age of 15, have a horde of new wild aliens in front of them. A troop of the new aliens are called DNAliens and their only goal is to destroy humanity and all life forms that are impure for them.
Within the past five years, Ben managed to take off the Omnitrix and live a normal life. One day when he was going to visit his grandfather Maxwell Tennyson, he rode his bike to Max's motor home. But instead of his grandfather, he found a DNAlien there that attacked him. He was able to persuade his opponent to flee and received a message from his grandfather, who was captured by these aliens.
Without hesitation, Ben drove, with his Omnitrix in his luggage, to his cousin Gwen, who has improved her magical powers a lot over the last five years and who is also the proud owner of the Black Belt in Taek Won Do. Together they go to a small barter with an organization that deals in alien technology. The seller is none other than Kevin E. Levin, who previously fought Ben and has thus become a mixture of the ten Omnitrix aliens. But he was able to assume his human form again. Since then he has been trading in extraterrestrial technology and making a good profit. In the small sale, the buyers turn out to be DNAliens and Ben becomes one of the new ten aliens in his Omnitrix for the first time.
Ben, who loves his new, smarter version of his Omnitrix, Gwen, who has now mastered sorcery and Taek Won Do, and Kevin, who has the ability to absorb matter, are now fighting as a team against the DNAliens and many other aliens. Among these are new and well-known ones, for example Vilgax, who is now getting stronger and stronger, and the curse thrower, who now wants to get Gwen back.
Characters
main character
- Benjamin "Ben" Tennyson
Ben still lives in Bellwood with his parents Karl and Sandra Tennyson. He is now 15 years old, enjoys playing soccer and leads a normal life. His parents once suspected nothing of his abilities until he turned into an alien in front of his parents in an episode in order to defeat a DNAliens.
- Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tennyson
Ben's cousin, like him, is now 15 years old and has a black belt in Taek Won Do. She has mature magical powers (mana). These magical powers come from her grandmother Verdona, an alien whose race can control the basic energy of magic . She helps Ben save her grandpa Max and save the world from the bad guys. After a while, Gwen also falls in love with Kevin E. Levin.
- Kevin Ethan Levin
Kevin, now 16 years old, was able to escape from the zero void and become an almost normal person again. Now he has mastered the ability to absorb matter. At first he works as a dealer in alien weapons, but when the DNAliens betray him and a galactic cop leaves his life for him, he joins Ben and Gwen, and over time he develops an intimate relationship with Gwen. In a later accident, however, it will again be locked into an uncontrolled chimera form of the materials it has absorbed, from which it can no longer transform itself back.
Supporting characters
- Maxwell "Max" Tennyson
Grandpa Max is kidnapped by the DNAliens before the series starts, but is saved by Ben and Gwen. After the successful rescue, he goes back into the plumbing business and often helps Ben, Gwen and Kevin out with his experiences.
- Azmuth
Azmuth, a Galvaner, is the inventor of the Omnitrix and describes himself as the most intelligent being in the universe. Azmuth originally designed the Omnitrix (as explained in the film Ben 10 - The Secret of the Omnitrix ) not as a weapon, but as an intergalactic means of communication. Grumpy and solitary as he is, he is therefore very critical of Ben's use of the Omnitrix as a superhero.
- Julie Yamamoto
Julie Yamamoto, an American of Japanese descent, is Ben's friend and schoolmate. After an incident with an alien seeking help, she discovers Ben's secret, but continues to stay with him and participate in his adventures.
- "Ship"
A galvanic mechamorph, a nanotechnological alien race, with the mentality of an earthly dog. "Schiff" was adopted by Julie Yamamoto when she found out about Ben's secret during a relief effort on behalf of "Schiff" s original owners.
Opponent
- Vilgax
Vilgax the arch enemy of Max and Ben Tennyson. The initially two meter tall and now huge Vilgax tries to destroy Ben Tennyson along with the earth. But Ben prevents it every time and later Vilgax comes back stronger and with more skills. Next to the elite, he is Ben's greatest opponent. Vilgax is a power-hungry, cruel and dogged conqueror who spares no means to destroy Ben. But these funds also backfire.
- The elite
The elite aliens are on the verge of destruction of their species as they have lost the ability to reproduce. Now they don't want to go under alone, but rather take all the life forms of this Galaxy with them. They consider all other life forms of this and other galaxies to be impure, only their own kind is pure.
- DNAliens
The DNAliens are basically the servants of the elite aliens. The DNAliens are normal people who got hit by an alien droid. These droids change the genes and appearance of their victims, and with the identity masks on, they look like normal people. But this hardly makes Ben's work difficult.
- The eternal knights
The Eternal Knights are a secret organization from the Middle Ages that hoard illegal alien technology and weapons. Their initial goal was an alien but harmless dragon, which they held captive for centuries until they could finally find the most suitable weapon for its destruction. Fortunately, Ben was able to free the dragon, which didn't improve his already bad relationships with the knights.
- Albedo
A galvaner and former Azmuth helper who turned into an image of Ben in an accident. He tries to get to the Omnitrix in order to change back to its original form. He has had white hair and red eyes and a jacket since the first encounter with Ben. In battle, he initially uses a copy of the Omnitrix, later the Ultimatrix
- Vulcanus
The former helper at Sixsix also returns in the new series to make life difficult for Ben. However, it eventually turns out to be much less dangerous than it appears to be.
Omnitrix and Ultimatrix
The galvaner Azmuth created the wristwatch-like Omnitrix. In this Omnitrix he stored over 1,000,000 strands of DNA from life forms in the entire universe, including from life forms that were already extinct. Unfortunately, the Omnitrix was destroyed in the last two episodes of Ben 10: Alien Force . But that's where the Ultimatrix comes into play, which is the transition to Ben 10: Ultimate Alien . From the last episodes of Ben 10: Alien Force it is known that the Ultimatrix brings all aliens to their maximum power. In addition, the new clock includes all old and all new life forms in the galaxy.
