Kristopher Lee Carter (born February 5, 1972 in San Antonio , Texas ) is an American composer who has worked with Lolita Ritmanis and Michael McCuistion for cartoons such as The Justice League , Teen Titans , Batman: The Brave and the Bold and since recently composed by Young Justice .

Life

Kristopher Lee Carter grew up in San Angelo , Texas and began learning to play the piano at the age of four . Since he started composing as a teenager, he later decided to study composition at the University of North Texas . During his studies Carter played the double bass in the university orchestra, where he met Ian Walker, the son of the composer Shirley Walker . The latter introduced him to Walker so that Carter could present her specially composed music. Shortly after graduating, Walker invited him to an internship in Los Angeles , where he assisted her and later, after his first cartoon of Batman, also became a permanent member of Walker's composing team with Lolita Ritmanis and Michael McCuistion .

Walker retired mid-1990s, more and more of the composition of animated series back, leaving this Ritmanis, McCuistion and Carter, which have since been combined for series like Justice League , Teen Titans , Batman: The Brave and the Bold and more recently Young Justice composed .
