Benedicto de Moraes Menezes , called Benedicto or Benedicto Zacconi , (born October 30, 1906 in Pelotas , RS ; † February 11, 1944 ) was a Brazilian national football player .

career

Benedicto started his career at the Clube de Regatas Brasil in Maceió . He soon moved to Rio de Janeiro for Botafogo FR. After a stopover at Fluminense FC, he continued on to Italy for Turin FC. Stayed here for two years and is said to have scored seven goals in 57 games. In 1935 he moved to Lazio Rome. During his time, he scored four goals in 110 games.

He was a member of the national team at the 1930 World Cup . He was used in the game against Bolivia on July 20. In 1932 he was able to win the Copa Rio Branco with the team. The following appearances in the national team are proven.
