After his contract with the Angels expired, Molina signed a one-year contract for $ 5 million with the Toronto Blue Jays after the 2005 season . A year later he became a free agent and signed a three-year contract for $ 16 million with the San Francisco Giants. In January 2010 he extended his contract for another year.
