Bengt Anders Euphrasén

Bengt Anders Euphrasén (born April 1756 in the parish of Habo , historical province Vastergotland , Sweden; † 25. December 1796 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish naturalist (botanist and zoologist).

He studied in Uppsala in 1784 .

In 1788 he made a natural history trip to the Antilles with the support of the Royal Academy of Sciences in Stockholm . It stayed on the island of Saint-Barthélemy from February 8 to April 16, on 16/17. April on Saint-Eustache and April 17th to June 19th on Saint Christopher (now St. Kitts ).

Upon his return he became a deputy botany demonstrator.
