Bengt Beutler
Bengt Beutler (* 1942 ) is a German legal scholar .
Life
He studied philosophy and art in Cologne and Heidelberg and law in Heidelberg and Berlin . He has been a judge in Bremen since 1975 . In 1996 he was appointed honorary professor for European integration at the University of Hamburg . In 1999 he was appointed honorary professor for European and constitutional law at the University of Bremen . He is chairman of the Society of Friends of the University of Bremen eV and chairman of the Philosophical Society in Bremen.
His main research interests are public law including general political theory and recent constitutional history with a focus on administrative law.
