Bengt Gabriel von Spången (born March 15, 1728 , † January 16, 1802 ) was a Swedish nobleman and colonel in the artillery .

As a flute player, von Spången was a member of the Stockholm secret society Utile Dulci , of which Anna Maria Lenngren and Verner von Heidenstam were also members. As an academy for music, Utile Dulci was the predecessor of the Royal Swedish Music Academy and Svenska Academies . Von Spången became an auscultant at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in 1752 and on March 11, 1772 the 26th member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music.

Von Spången was the son of Carl Magnus and Maria Amalia von Spången. Maria Amalia von Spången was a daughter of the Evangelical Lutheran clergyman and author of the Baroque period Gabriel Wedderkop .
