Benjamin Giraud (born January 23, 1986 in Marseille ) is a former French cyclist .

Career

Giraud drove for the French club team AVC Aix-en-Provence from 2007 to 2010 . In the 2009 season he won the Prix Mathias Piston and the Prix de la Ville de Saint-Maximin. At the end of the year he drove as a stagiare with the French UCI ProTeam Cofidis, le Crédit en Ligne , but did not get a professional contract there afterwards. In 2010 Giraud won a stage in the Tour de Franche Comté Cycliste. From the 2011 season he drove for the UCI Continental Team Vélo-Club La Pomme Marseille , which changed names several times. In his first year there he was on part of the Circuit des Ardennessuccessfully. In the following years he won several stages in tours in Asia, such as the Tour de Taiwan and the Tour of Hainan . In 2017 he ended his cycling career.
