Benjamin Herth (born August 3, 1985 in Biberach an der Riss ) is a German handball player who plays for the second division club DJK Rimpar .
Career
Benjamin Herth began his career with the Biberach gymnastics community, where he won the Biberach International Easter Tournament in 2003 . In the same year, Herth moved via JSG Balingen-Weilstetten to HBW Balingen-Weilstetten , where he first played in the 2nd handball Bundesliga and from 2006 also in the first Bundesliga. From the 2013/14 season he was under contract with TBV Lemgo. In September 2014 it was announced that his contract with the TBV, which expired in 2015, will not be extended. Then he joined the TuS N-Lübbecke . In January 2016, Herth moved to SC DHfK Leipzig . For the 2016/17 season he moved to DJK Rimpar . From the 2020/21 season he is under contract with third division club HSC Bad Neustadt .
On December 1, 2009, Herth made his debut in the German national team under the direction of Heiner Brand . In his first game in Münster against Belarus , Benjamin Herth scored twice. Herth also played six youth and two youth internationals.
