Steffen Kaufmann (born December 29, 1992 in Loerrach ) is a German handball player . He plays in the 2nd handball league for the Lower Franconian club DJK Rimpar .
Career
Kaufmann has been playing handball at ESV Weil am Rhein since he was 4 years old . There he went through all youth teams up to the B-youth and switched to the newly founded handball center in Großwallstadt in the 2007/08 season. From 2009 back area rights played with the A-youth of HBLZ Großwallstadt in the Bayernliga . In 2011 Kaufmann, who at that time still played on the right winger , signed a contract for the Bundesliga team of TV Großwallstadt . On October 7, 2011, he completed his first Bundesliga game against TSV Hannover-Burgdorf . By 2013 he had 39 goals in 48 Bundesliga games. In addition, from 2011, Kaufmann received a two-game right for third division TV Kirchzell , where he played until the 2012/13 season and was regularly one of the top scorers in the third division south .
In June 2013, the 32-time national youth player moved to DJK Rimpar in the Würzburg area , where he plays in the right back area . With the wolves, the 1.83 m tall businessman reached early relegation and contributed 205 goals.
