Benjamin Kiesewetter
Benjamin Kiesewetter (born November 1, 1853 in Arnstadt ; † July 5, 1934 there ) was a merchant and member of parliament in the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen .
Life
After graduating from secondary school in Arnstadt, Kiesewetter completed a commercial apprenticeship at the Liebmann & Kiesewetter glove factory. In 1873/74 he took over his father's business.
He was elected to his hometown council in 1886. On November 29, 1898 he was elected deputy chairman of the municipal council, on September 9, 1902 he became chairman. Until 1928 he remained in office without interruption.
From 1898 to spring 1919 he was also a member of the state parliament in Schwarzburg-Sondershausen .
