Benjamin Pintol (born May 19, 1990 in Sarajevo ) is a German - Bosnian football player who is mostly used in attacking midfield. He has been under contract with third division club SC Fortuna Köln since summer 2018 .

Career

Benjamin Pintol, who was born in Bosnia and grew up in Hesse, changed clubs several times in his youth. At the age of 15, he returned to the FSV through DJK Schwarz Weiss Frankfurt-Griesheim , FSV Frankfurt , Eintracht Frankfurt , 1. FSV Mainz 05 and Kickers Offenbach .

He then spent the rest of his youth with the Bornheimers and was able to record as the greatest success being promoted to the junior national league with the U-17. In 2009 he moved up from the junior division to the second team. After the first team had a false start into the new season with two defeats at the beginning and Junior Ross was injured in his position in the central attacking midfield, Pintol was promoted to the squad of the second division team in his place. On August 22, 2009 he received his first professional assignment and was used several times in the preliminary round of the 2009/10 season . In the second division season 2010/11 he was again in the professional squad, but was only used in the U-23 team in the Regionalliga Süd . At the end of the season he finally left the club.

From January 30, 2012, he was under contract with the western regional division club Eintracht Trier , was due to injury problems only in the final phase of the season in nine games in which he scored two goals. In the summer Pintol returned to Frankfurt, where he joined the regional league representation of Eintracht.

For the 2013/14 season , Pintol moved to Kickers Offenbach , for whom he had already played in his youth. On May 5, 2016, the third division Hallescher FC announced Pintol's commitment to the new season. He crowned his debut for Halleschen FC on July 30, 2016 (1st matchday) in a 3-0 win in the away game against Rot-Weiß Erfurt with the opening goal in the third minute.
