Benny Hörtnagl

Benny Hörtnagl (born November 24, 1982 in Inzing ) is an Austrian radio and television presenter.

Career

In 1998 Hörtnagl began his radio career with Welle 1 in Innsbruck . After engagements at Antenne Tirol (1999–2001) and Energy 104.2 (2001–2004), he has been moderating since August 2004 and has since worked for Hitradio Ö3 and ORF TV.

On Hitradio Ö3 he regularly moderates programs such as the “Ö3 music show”, “The song of your life” and “Treffpunkt Österreich” as well as live broadcasts from various festivals and concerts ( Novarock , Frequency , Amadeus Award , Donauinselfest ). Since 2019 he has also moderated the program "Solid Gold".

Hörtnagl also designed various new programs and campaigns himself, such as the daily chart show, “Song of your Life”, “Ask the whole country” or “Ö3X”.

For Austrian radio he moderated television programs such as the “ Kiddy Contest ”, “Night of Pop”, the “Donauinselfest” and “ Orf.music.night ”. Hörtnagl already presented the ORF 2 program “Quiz Express” in the night program of Austrian television . From March to July 2011 he was also the presenter of the ORF talk show "Contra".

From April 2020 he will host the show “Live in SK1”.

In addition to his various activities as a moderator, Hörtnagl regularly writes articles about music in various magazines (TOPIC magazine, etc.), teaches at various universities of applied sciences, is a lecturer in communication institutes and event curator.

Private

Since 2011 Benny Hörtnagl is with the CIA presenter Lisa Gadenstätter married.
