Bent Kjær Jensen (born June 6, 1947 in Odense ) is a former Danish football player .

Career

Jensen began his career with the then Danish first division club B 1913 Odense before moving abroad in 1969. From 1969 to 1972 Jensen was active in the French Première Division for Girondins Bordeaux , in 1972 he joined the German Bundesliga club Eintracht Braunschweig . In Braunschweig, however, he could not prevail and was only nine times on the grid in the 1972/73 season. After Eintracht's relegation in 1973, he left the club again and moved to SK Austria Klagenfurt in Austria . After two seasons in Klagenfurt, in which Austria narrowly escaped relegation, Jensen returned to Denmark and let his career come to an end with his home club B 1913, which had meanwhile been relegated to the 3rd division.

Between 1968 and 1972 Jensen also played a total of 20 times in the Danish national team, scoring 13 goals. With Denmark he took part in the qualification for the football world championships in 1970 and 1974 , but his team could not qualify for either of the two tournaments.
