Herrenwies (formerly Hertwies) is an isolated farm in the municipality Wiggensbach in the district of Oberallgäu, Bavaria. The Einödhof had 8 inhabitants in 1987 and is 796 m above sea level. NN .
In house statistics from around 1800, the property is listed as an Ölmühl-Gut with an area of 74.65 days' work (25.44 hectares ). The oil mill, which was built after 1730 and has long since ceased to exist, was located on a stream or artificial canal, part of the early long-distance water supply in Kempten , which passed here at the time and flowed a good 300 meters to the east into the Herrenwieser Weiher , which already led to the City of Kempten (Allgäu) belongs.
