Berat Safa Aktepe (born April 23, 1989 ) is a former Turkish ice hockey player who last played until 2010 for the team of the Turkish Police Academy in the Turkish Super League .

Career

Berat Aktepe started his career at Ankara Emniyet. From 2008 to 2010 he played for Polis Akademisi ve Koleji , the team of the Turkish Police Academy, in the super league . In 2009 he was with the team of Turkish champions . When the game was stopped in 2010, he ended his club career at the age of only 21.

International

For Turkey, Aktepe took part in the junior division in Division III at the U18 World Championships in 2006 and 2007 and the U20 World Championships in 2007 and 2008 . He also played with the Turkish student selection at the 2011 Winter Universiade in Erzurum .

With the men's national team , he played at the World Championships in Division III in 2009 and in the World Championships in Division II in 2010 . He was also on the ice for the team from the Bosporus in qualifying for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver .
