Berend Reinhold von Wrangell

Berend Reinhold von Wrangell († 1710 ) was a knighthood captain of the Estonian knighthood .

Life

Berend Reinhold was a member of the Baltic noble family von Wrangel . His parents were the Estonian manor owner Bernhard Johann von Wrangell († 1690) and Gertrude, née Freiin von Wrede († 1716).

He married Dorothea Elisabeth von Wrangell († 1685) for the first time in 1680 and his second marriage to Anna Katharina von Maydell in 1687 . The second marriage resulted in three daughters and two sons.

Wrangell attended the academy in Pernau from 1670 to 1672 . In 1687 he was a Swedish captain and later advanced to major . In 1690 he took over as heir to Lagena on the occasion of the enthronement of Carl XI. partake in its homage . In the years 1706 to 1709 he was then knight captain and was elected district administrator in 1709 . He died of the plague a little after October 5, 1710 .

He had next to Lagena nor the estates Mustajöggi, Metzküll, Uddrias and Waiware.
