The Beresan Liman (Ukrainian Березанський лиман ) is a liman in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Mykolaiv and forms the mouth of the 49 km long coastal river Beresan in the Black Sea .

Apart from a 400 m wide passage near the village of Rybakivka , a spit separates the Liman from the north coast of the Black Sea.

The Liman has a length of 20 to 26 km and covers an area of 60 km². Its width is between 0.6 km and 4 km and averages about 2.3 km. It has an average depth of 3.3 m and a maximum depth of about 15 m. The water volume of the Liman is 0.2 km³. In addition to the Beresan, the 45 km long Sassyk (Ukrainian Сасик ) flows into the Liman.

The city of Ochakiv lies on the west bank of the Beresan Liman and the island of Beresan lies in front of the Liman in the Black Sea .
