Bergalingen is a district of the municipality of Rickenbach in the Baden-Württemberg district of Waldshut .

The village is located in the Hotzenwald , approx. 1.7 km southwest of Rickenbach. The Heidewuhr flows past in the east, a tributary of the Rhine . The state road L 155 towards Wehr crosses the village, the district road K 6539 flows into it.
history
Archaeological finds suggest that there was probably a settlement near Bergalingen as early as the Neolithic Age . The place appears for the first time in 1257. Originally belonging to the county of Wehr, it came under the rule of Rudolf von Habsburg in 1272 and was later assigned to the unification of Rickenbach. Bergalingen belonged to Upper Austria until 1805 and then fell to Baden .
The former municipality was incorporated into Rickenbach on January 1, 1975 as part of the municipal reform.
