The Johanngeorgenstadt mining educational trail is an educational mining trail in the Johanngeorgenstädter mountain area . The path symbol is a white square with a green band running diagonally from top left to bottom right.

The nature trail is a 5.2 km long way from the Johanngeorgenstadt train station to the Bergmanns place in the middle town of Johanngeorgenstadt. There are parking spaces at the two end points and at the “Glöckl” mine in Wittigsthal. Along the way, signposts lead to historical evidence of the mining history of Johanngeorgenstadt and its districts Wittigsthal and Jugel . Green boards with white letters explain the special features of these localities in terms of mining history. The lowest point is at the train station at about 700  m above sea level. NHN , the highest point is the Bergmanns Platz with about 829 m above sea level.

The mining nature trail leads from the Johanngeorgenstadt train station along Wittigsthalstrasse and Jugelstrasse through the two districts of the same name in the Schwarzwasser valley . Behind the paint mill in Unterjugel, the nature trail continues along the Lehmergrund to the Gabe Gottes treasure trove . Then he leads over the Gabe-Gottes-Weg to the horse goddess. The last part leads over the Schwefelwerkstraße to the Bergmanns place in the middle town of Johanngeorgenstadt.
