The Bergekongen ( Norwegian for king of the mountain gnomes ) is a 2385 m high nunatak in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the western part of the Sør Rondane Mountains, it rises west of the Tussebreen in the north-western section of the Gandrimen .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1988.
