Bergern is a hamlet-like district of the Reinstädt municipality in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia .

Bergern can be reached via Kreisstraße 208 from Reinstädt in the direction of Beckerskirchhof . The place is near the Vorwerk hill.

history

The small village was first mentioned in a document in 1378. Bergern has only a few houses. There is an inn. For years, children's camps were held there, operated by the TGA (Technical Building Equipment Karl-Marx-Stadt ). The hamlet is located on the extreme western border of the Saale-Holzland district.
