Bergham (Otterfing)

Bergham is a district of Otterfing in the Miesbach district . The village is about 500 meters west of the center in the direction of Dietramszell .

history

The ending -ham , Upper German for -heim, indicates a settlement around the 7th / 8th century. Bergham was first mentioned in a document in 1149 in a tradition book of the Tegernsee monastery as "Perchaim".

Infrastructure and sights

The village is dominated by agriculture. The St. Valentin branch church, built in 1523, is worth seeing, a previous building from the 14th century is documented.
