Berghofen is a part of the municipality of Moosach in the Upper Bavarian district of Ebersberg .
The hamlet is about six kilometers southwest of Ebersberg . It was first mentioned in a document in 818.
church
The St. Pankratius branch church in Berghofen is one of the oldest churches in the Ebersberg area. It is estimated that it was built between 1180 and 1200. Originally assigned to the parish of Bruck , it has belonged to the parish of Moosach since 1820.
