location

The municipality is located in the Munich region about 5 km southwest of Grafing , 16 km north of Feldkirchen-Westerham , 31 km southeast of the state capital Munich and 9 km from the district town of Ebersberg . It is only 4 km to the nearest train station in Grafing Bahnhof with connection to S-Bahn line 6, S-Bahn line 4 (clock amplifier, only during rush hour) and regional trains ( Munich – Rosenheim and to Wasserburg ), the A 99 (connection point Haar ) is 17 km away.

Until the church is planted

Bruck belonged to the Baron von Pienzenau. The place was part of the Electorate of Bavaria and belonged to the closed Hofmark Wildenholzen. The municipality of Bruck was established in 1818.

Population development

Between 1988 and 2018 the municipality grew from 916 to 1,293 by 377 inhabitants or 41.2%.

The coat of arms shows a bridge and a black ribbon with three yellow balls. The ribbon with the three yellow balls stands for the Freiherrn von Pienzenau and the gray bridge stands for the bridge over the Moosach (river) , which was built in the village of Bruck.

Economy including agriculture and forestry

In 1998 there were no employees in the field of agriculture and forestry, 21 in the manufacturing sector and no employees in the field of trade and transport at the place of work. There were a total of 285 employees at the place of residence subject to social security contributions. There were five companies in the manufacturing sector and one company in the main construction sector. In 1999 there were also 62 farms with an agriculturally used area of ​​1478 ha. 903 ha of this was permanent green space.

From 1894 there was a stop of the local railway Grafing-Glonn in the district of Taglaching , on this, however, in 1970, due to falling passenger numbers , the passenger traffic and in 1971 the goods traffic was stopped and the line was closed.

The connection to the S-Bahn and regional train station Grafing Bahnhof has been guaranteed since then with the regional bus line 440 (Grafing-Glonn). The municipality of Bruck is located in Zone 3 of the Munich Transport and Tariff Association .

The only wind turbine in the district of Ebersberg is located in the Hamberg district of Bruck, an E-82 E2 system from the manufacturer Enercon with a hub height of 138 m and an output of 2300 kW.

  • Kinderhaus Sonnenblume Alxing / Bruck: twelve crèche places (for children up to two years of age) and 50 kindergarten places (for children from two years of age until they start school)
  • Elementary school Moosach-Alxing: The students from the communities of Bruck and Moosach are housed in two school buildings, which are 4.5 kilometers apart. Grades 1 and 2 are taught in Alxing and grades 3 and 4 in Moosach. In the 2014/2015 school year, around 120 children attended the Moosach-Alxing primary school.
