Berkay Öztuvan (born February 5, 1992 in Osmangazi ) is a Turkish football player in the service of Goztepe Izmir .
Career
Club career
Öztuvan began club football in his hometown Osmangazi with the youngsters of the amateur club Makospor . In 2007 he moved to the youth team of Fenerbahçe Istanbul with a professional contract . Here he played for five seasons exclusively for the youth team and later for the reserve team.
In order to allow him match practice in a professional league, he was loaned to the second division Giresunspor for the second half of the 2011/12 season. On January 22, 2012, he made his debut in a second division game against Boluspor . By the end of the season he completed 16 league encounters and scored one goal.
For the 2012/13 season he was loaned to the TFF 1st Lig , this time to the promoted Adana Demirspor . At the end of the season he returned to Fenerbahçe and then moved as a loan player to third division Göztepe Izmir .
National team
Öztuvan went through the Turkish U-18 and U-19 youth national teams. In 2011, he took part in the 2011 U-19 European Football Championship with the Turkish U-19 team, but was eliminated from the tournament with his team in the group stage.
He was nominated for the Turkish U-21 national team for the first time in his career in two friendlies .
