Berlin directly
Berlin direkt is a television magazine on current political events that is produced directly by the ZDF capital city studio in Berlin , as the successor magazine to Bonn . Theo Koll , head of the ZDF capital studio, is the presenter of the program, alternating with his deputy Shakuntala Banerjee . The first broadcast took place on April 18, 1999 on ZDF . The regular broadcast date is on Sundays at 7:10 p.m. following the main issue of today's news. The broadcast lasts 20 minutes. During the parliamentary summer break, the “ summer interviews ” are broadcast, in which the Federal President and the chairmen of all parties represented in the Bundestag are questioned. The program was long the most-watched political magazine on television, partly because of its early slot. According to ZDF, an episode of the magazine costs around 43,000 euros.
