Bernard Norlain

Bernard Norlain (born November 22, 1939 in Vannes ) is a French fighter pilot and former general of the French Air Force .

From 1986 to 1989, Norlain headed the military cabinet of the then French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac . During the second Gulf War , he was the air defense commander. Since his retirement he has been involved in the “ Global Zero ” initiative and is president of the monthly “ Revue Défense Nationale ”. He has a seat on the Executive Board of the European Leadership Network .
