Bernd Eichmann (born February 12, 1966 ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .
Career
player
Eichmann played in his youth at SV Saar 05 Saarbrücken before moving to the city leader 1. FC Saarbrücken . He had his most successful time as an active soccer player with the Saarbrücken team. About the league reserve he played in the professional squad of the FCS. In 1992 he was promoted to the upper house of German football, the Bundesliga . After only one year, they were relegated to eighth place in the table. Until his license was withdrawn in 1995, he remained a player in 1. FC Saarbrücken in the 2. Bundesliga. He then moved to the Saarland regional league team FC 08 Homburg . From 1999 he played for SV Elversberg until he went to SC Halberg Brebach in 2002 . He stayed there for a year, this year he was promoted to the league. For private reasons, he did not go into the top division, but decided to continue playing with the district division club SV Karlsbrunn. In 2006 his last playing season followed. For this he moved to the Association League Saar to his old club SC Halberg Brebach.
Trainer
After he was still a player for SC Halberg Brebach in the 2006/07 season , he took over as coach from 2007. In 2012 he said goodbye to 1. FC Saarbrücken with the championship in the Saarland League. There he took over the U-23 team. At the beginning of September 2013, he took over the post of released Jürgen Luginger as an interim coach for two weeks until Milan Šašić was committed to the Saarbrücken third division team . Since 2015 he has been the trainer of TuS Herrensohr .
