Bernd Greif

Bernd Greif (born August 29, 1943 ) is a German local politician ( CDU ).

After the fall of the Wall in 1990, Greif became District Administrator of the Dippoldiswalde district and in 1994 of the Weisseritz district that emerged from it . He remained the first and only district administrator in this district. In the 2008 district election for the new Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district , Greif did not run for reasons of age, but remained active in the district council.

Bernd Greif is married and lives in Altenberg , where he is also a city councilor. Greif is also chairman of the supervisory board of the operating company of the Altenberg bobsleigh run and honorary president of the Elbe / Labe Euroregion .
