Bernd Halfar
Bernd Halfar (born June 23, 1955 in Nuremberg ) is a German sociologist .
Life
Halfar studied in Nuremberg and Bamberg . He then worked as a research assistant to Karl-Dieter Keim at the University of Bamberg in the professorship for social planning and at Dieter Schäfer's chair for economics . This was followed by research at the Institute for Social Work and Social Pedagogy in Frankfurt am Main , professorships at various universities, a visiting professorship at the Pomor University of Archangelsk and research grants at the University of Rome and the Bocconi University in Milan . Since 2004 Halfar has been a professor at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt for management in social institutions / OE. His areas of work are impact- oriented controlling , social return on investment calculations, service productivity , financial theory of merit goods . According to his own information, he has so far published over 180 scientific publications, including 25 books. Bernd Halfar is a founding member and active partner of the research and consulting company xit in Nuremberg.
