Bernd Kulke (* 2. October 1959 in Zehdenick ) is a former German football player in the defense . He played for BSG Energie Cottbus and FC Victoria 91 Frankfurt (Oder) in the GDR league .

Career

Kulke played in his youth at his home club BSG Aufbau Burgwall, at SG Dynamo Gransee and later in the youth departments of BFC Dynamo . In 1978 he was signed by SG Dynamo Fürstenwalde . After only a year, Kulke went back to the BFC, but only stayed there until the summer. He joined the BSG Energie Cottbus, which played in the second-rate GDR league. In his first season in 1980/81 Kulke came on 15 missions, scored four goals and rose with Cottbus in the league. He made his debut on August 22, 1981, when he was in the starting line-up on matchday 1 in the 5-0 defeat against Rot-Weiß Erfurt . Kulke scored his first professional goal on the following day against BSG Chemie Buna Schkopau in the 56th minute; Nevertheless, Cottbus lost 3-1. In the league season 1981/82 Kulke completed 19 games (13 of them in the starting line-up), in which he scored three goals. Nevertheless, Cottbus had to accept the direct relegation. 1982/83 Kulke met twice in twelve games. In his last season 1984/85 in Cottbus he scored ten goals in 21 appearances. In 1984 he returned to SG Dynamo Fürstenwalde. In 1988/89 he scored 11 times and in 1989/90 even 14 times in the GDR league for Fürstenwalde. In 1990 Kulke moved to FC Victoria 91 Frankfurt (Oder) in the major league. He scored three goals in 20 games. At the end of the season he went to the lower class SV Motor Eberswalde and stayed there until 1997. Then Kulke played until 2006 at 1. FV Stahl Finow.
