Bernd Seehase (* 1952 in Berlin ) is a former German handball player . The right backcourt player played for Füchse Berlin Reinickendorf and TSV Grün-Weiß Dankersen in the Bundesliga .

Career

The 1.93 m tall sea hare began playing handball in his hometown of Berlin . He came to Füchsen Berlin Reinickendorf in 1974 via BSC Rehberge 1945 and Charlottenburger HC . In 1977 a change to THW Kiel , which had already been reported as perfect, failed . In 1979 he joined TSV Grün-Weiß Dankersen , went back to the Füchsen after four years and returned to Dankersen one season later. After a dispute with coach Friedrich Spannuth , he threw him out of the squad at the end of the 1987/88 season and Seehase moved to the regional league team Union 73 Bad Salzuflen . After an injury in October 1989, he no longer ran for the club and was reactivated by Minden in March 1990 to help in the relegation battle of the 2nd Bundesliga. In the following season he played in the fourth team, but was reactivated in November 1991 for the first team and played the season to the end. Then he finally ended his active career and played tennis and golf from then on .

Seehase made his debut on November 14, 1980 against Iceland in Reykjavik for the German national team . In total, he played five international matches, in which he scored four goals.
