The Szafranówka is a mountain in the Polish Little Pienines , a mountain range of the Pieninen , with 742 meters above sea level.
Location and surroundings
The Szafranówka lies in the main ridge of the Pienines . North of the summit is the valley of the Grajcarek mountain river .
tourism
The summit can be easily reached from all surrounding villages on marked hiking trails. It is outside the Polish Pieninen National Park . Its southern slopes lie in the Slovak Pienin National Park .
Routes to the summit
Marked routes to the summit lead from Szczawnica and Czorsztyn :
- ▬ the blue ridge trail from Czorsztyn over the Middle Pienines, the Nowy Przewóz crossingover the Dunajec riverto Szczawnica over the main ridge of the Little Pienines to the Sander Beskids .
- ▬ the yellow ridge trail from Szczawnica over the Palenica to the Szafranówka and on to Leśnica in Slovakia.
