Bernd Strasser

Bernd Strasser (born January 22, 1936 in Lüdinghausen ) is a former German water polo player and Olympic participant. The 1.95 m tall and 85 kg heavy athlete started for SC Rote Erde Hamm , of which he is honorary chairman today.

Strasser won the German championship with SC Rote Erde Hamm in 1954, 1955, 1956, 1959 and 1960 .

In addition, he was a member of the national team, which came 6th out of 16 participating teams at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome (Team: Emil Bildstein , Jürgen Fuchs , Hans Hoffmeister , Jürgen Honig , Lajos Nagy , Friedhelm Osselmann , Ludwig Ott , Hans Schepers , Achim Schneider , Dieter Seiz and Bernd Strasser).

Bernd Strasser received the silver bay leaf on May 2, 1960.
