Bernd Wildermuth
Bernd Wildermuth (* 1957 in Bünde ) is a German Lutheran theologian and youth pastor of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg .
Life
After graduating from high school in 1977, Wildermuth studied Protestant theology in Tübingen and Göttingen . From 1998 to 2001 he and his wife were in the rectory at the Christ Church in Sindelfingen . From 2004 he worked as a project consultant at the pedagogical-theological center of the regional church in Stuttgart-Birkach. His main focus during this time was the reorganization of confirmation work in the Evangelical Church of Württemberg. From 2005 he was a student pastor in the Evangelical Youth Office in Württemberg . On July 29, 2008, he was elected as the successor to Rolf Ulmer as regional youth pastor of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg, an office that was introduced in 1934 in all regional churches. Important predecessors in the office of youth pastor are Helmut Claß (1949–1957) and Theo Sorg (1957–1960). From November 2014 to November 2017 he was chairman of the working group of Protestant youth .
Wildermuth has written articles for the Biographical-Bibliographical Church Lexicon, e.g. B. on the writer Hugo von Hofmannsthal , the Archbishop of Vienna Theodor Innitzer , the religious philosopher William James , the historian Johannes Janssen and Justin .

Wildermuth is married and has children.
