Bernhard Arcuficis
Bernhard Arcuficis OP (also Bernardo Arfizio ; Bernhard von Callipolis ; † 1435 ) was a Dominican and titular bishop of Callipolis and auxiliary bishop in Breslau .
Life
Bernhard Arcuficis came from a family of bow makers in Breslau . On February 23, 1405 he was appointed titular bishop of Callipolis by Pope Innocent VII and presumably also appointed auxiliary bishop in Breslau. In any case, he consecrated the choir of the church in Endersdorf near Zuckmantel as auxiliary bishop on April 11, 1412 . In the relevant document he is expressly referred to as the suffragan of Wenceslas Bishop Wenceslas . A minor consecration has been handed down to pontifical acts, which he granted on April 3, 1428 to Johann Franz Goltberg from Breslau. Arcuficius died in 1435 and was buried in the Wroclaw Dominican Church of St. Adalbert.
