Bernhard Jägermann

Bernhard Jägermann (born January 4, 1896 in Burgsteinfurt , † February 27, 1967 ) was a North Rhine-Westphalian state and local politician of the CDU .

Live and act

Jägermann was a self-employed farmer and temporarily head of local farmers. At the beginning of the Second World War he did military service in the medical service. In early 1940 he was released from the military as indispensable. In 1942 Jägermann was temporarily imprisoned for various attacks on the NSDAP and was tried on various occasions, including before the special court in Bielefeld .

If Jägermann hadn't belonged to any party before 1945, he now joined the CDU. For the party he was in 1946 a member of the appointed city council of Burgsteinfurt and the provincial council for Westphalia . In addition, Jägermann was a member of the 1st and 2nd appointed Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1946 and 1947 . In the first regular election period he was directly elected member of the constituency 81 Steinfurt-Süd until June 17, 1950. His successor in constituency 81 was Clemens Horstmann .
