Bernhard König (composer)

Bernhard König (born March 27, 1967 in Erlangen ) is a German composer , radio play maker and concert teacher living in Korschenbroich .

Life

Bernhard König studied composition with Claus Kühnl and Mauricio Kagel . In 1997, together with hans w. Koch and Anke Eberwein run the Cologne office for concert education and work as a freelance composer, dramaturge and concert teacher with orchestras and concert promoters from all over Germany. As a radio play author, he realized several productions for the Acoustic Art Studio of West German Broadcasting Corporation. One of his main focuses is working with musicians with intellectual disabilities . In the Trimum project of the International Bach Academy Stuttgart, which he is leading, musicians, theologians and scientists have been looking for music from the Judeo-Christian-Islamic trialogue since 2012 .
