Bernhard Mathäss

Bernhard Mathäss (* 1963 in Landau in the Palatinate ) is a German sculptor . After graduating from high school, he did an apprenticeship as a stone sculptor with Theo Rörig , attended the college for stone design in Freiburg im Breisgau and studied with Thomas Duttenhoefer in the sculpting class . In 2001 he received the Art Prize of the Trier-Saarburg district . Today he is one of the nationwide respected tomb creators.
