from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bernhard Schultze (born November 20, 1622 in Bremen ; † December 30, 1687 in Kiel ) was a German legal scholar and camerawoman .

Life

Schultze had studied at the University of Helmstedt , where he received his doctorate in law in 1651 . Three years later he was appointed professor of politics at the philosophical faculty of the University of Rinteln , where he later became professor at the law faculty, councilor and consistorial assessor. In 1674 he followed an appointment as professor at the law faculty of the University of Kiel , which position he accompanied until the end of his life and also held the office of vice chancellor.

His very numerous specialist writings, mostly written in the form of smaller treatises, cover almost all areas of law, but mainly the encyclopedia and philosophy of law, constitutional and international law and criminal law. The proponent activities are therefore left out of his catalog raisonné and can be traced in Strieder.
